2004 Thor Wanderer 187tb Ft Toy Hauler Customer Reviews
The Send and the Wanderer are both brand past Thor. What's the difference between the two "proper name-plates"?
The 2001 Transport I'm looking at (21' travel trailer style) has smooth fiberglass sides. Other ones I have seen on the Spider web are not-smooth (possibly aluminum?) – was this changed on the later model years??
Any know issues with the Thor fiberglass sides bonding / bubbling besides water intrusion problems??
I have read nearly some of the issues of Thor products. Because of a limited budget, I take to look at the "lower end" used haulers. I'm hoping fine a decent 1.
Thanks once again - GaryDee

didn't want to dump information technology when the front end cap started to delaminate (polish sides). Got estimates upward to $5000 for the fix. Institute a guy in Hemit, Ca that fixed it for me for $625.00 with Alum.
The one I'thousand looking at had the same issue with the front. That was besides my idea, to put an "aluminum diamond plate deflector" beyond the front end like other campers have.

floor buckling especially in the cargo area, partical board don't far well when moisture gets in there.

"Richheck" - that explains destine. I'm almost amazed someone would actually know all that information! I do like the thought of the aluminum framing.
The only outcome that seems to exist nagging usa on this on is that the "loft bed" does not drop down, leaving simply nearly 24" betwixt the bed and the roof. Hummm.
Thanks again for your input, lets run across what happens!

I accept the aforementioned problem with mine, it happened while camping on the beach in the rain, water leaked in throught the shower skylight. I re-did all of the dicor with eternabond but, the, harm was already done! i HAve learned to live with it

That loft bed in the rear SUCKS. The main reason we got rid of ours was we were tired of climbing into that bed every night and the DW hated crawling over me in the middle of the dark to go potty.
LOL, took the words right out, er, off of my keyboard! Our 2004 21WTB was our first Toyhauler, and we were very happy with it, except for the single loft bunk in the rear. The DW refused to climb up to sleep in it, and the 2 of us didn't fit on the sofa or dinette bed. We ended upwardly using one of those double-decker inflatable beds, but nosotros tended to both gyre to the heart.
New truck and five'er took care of that problem.

They even had some double decker electric drop down rear beds, merely that eats upwardly alot of clearance in the "garage" area.
We still finish up itch over each other during the nighttime to use the restroom, so a 5 er is in the plans, already upgraded the T V last yr.
Now I just have to deal with that messed up partical board floor

Our Thor Wanderer came with the fixed loft bed. Tore information technology out and replaced it with a Happi-Jac electric bed set up like the newer Th take. Fabricated a big difference in the trailer. Non that hard to practice yourself and worth the effort.
